Image from The Art of Sewing/TRADITIONAL FAVORITESI was browsing Trendland tonight and I came across these beautiful wallpapers from Rachel de Joode. Her kaleidoscopic photos reminded me of some of the photos in Time Life Books' The Art of Sewing, published in 1975. I have collected two volumes: Decorative Techniques and Traditional Favorites. The books contain craft projects with detailed instructions on sweing projects, knitting and crochetting, embroidery, quilting, applique, and more. I only wish more of the photos in the books were so kaleidoscopic!
